Mind, Body and Playful Spirit.
Leela, from the Sanskrit word Lila, means divine play: the spirit of playfulness, joy, curiosity, freedom, and creative possibility. That spirit, together with a trauma-informed and choice-centered approach, shapes both my personal practice and my teaching and facilitation philosophy.
I am a healing arts facilitator, ceremonialist, educator, and founder of Leela Yoga + Wellness.
Through sound meditation, mindfulness, movement, yoga, writing, and ritual, I create experiences that invite people to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and make room for rest, joy, imagination, and care.
My work reaches across schools, universities, cultural institutions, nonprofits, businesses, and community spaces. I offer community wellness gatherings, sound meditation, trauma-informed movement, youth programming, professional development, curriculum consultation, retreats, and customized experiences for organizations.
At the heart of this work is a commitment to autonomy, accessibility, cultural awareness, and our shared humanity. I believe care can be a form of resistance, rest is a birthright, and joy and divine play are essential parts of a well lived life.
