My Grief & Praise series was created to hold space for the truth that grief is complex.
Beyond loss, grief can arise in many ways: through personal transitions, systemic inequities, ancestral memory, or the ongoing shifts in our world that impact how we move through life.
This gathering is not a yoga or asana practice.
It is a community-centered space for rest, processing, and being held with care.
Here, we honor the many forms of grief while also making room for praise - the gratitude, joy, and moments of ease that remind us we can move at our own pace.
Through reflection, conversation, and intentional community, we come together to witness one another with compassion and empathy, welcoming the natural ebbs and flows of grief without pressure to rush or rapidly process. In this space, grief is not something to bypass, but something to be tended to gently, with time, and in community.
